A more local way to advertise.
Perth Leaflet Distribution was created after years of working with businesses that used some of the larger leaflet distribution companies.
The traditional model can work well for high-volume campaigns, but we kept seeing an opportunity for something more personal, more transparent and more focused on local relationships.
We thought there had to be a better way to connect the business paying for a campaign with the person actually doing the work.
Why we built the marketplace
Perth Leaflet Distribution is designed around relationships rather than simply moving large volumes of flyers.
Instead of every campaign disappearing into a large distribution system, businesses can create local opportunities that independent distributors can choose to pursue.
Advertisers can be clearer about:
- Where they want material distributed
- When they would like the campaign completed
- What proof or reporting they would like
- Who they choose to work with
Independent distributors can choose:
- The areas they want to cover
- The jobs that suit them
- When they are available
- What they are prepared to offer for the work
The aim is simple: create a more direct relationship between the business paying for the campaign and the person actually doing the work.
Better for local distributors too
One of the things we wanted to improve was the relationship with the people actually walking the streets and completing the distribution.
In a traditional volume-based model, part of what the advertiser pays naturally goes towards administration, sales and running a larger organisation. The person actually completing the distribution may only receive a portion of the total campaign fee.
Our marketplace model is different.
Independent distributors can choose which opportunities they want to pursue and make their own offers. Perth Leaflet Distribution provides the platform that helps bring advertisers and distributors together.
This is not about simply finding the cheapest person. It is about creating a system where good local distributors can build a reputation and businesses can choose who they feel comfortable working with.

Then came the cafe conversation
The second part of the idea came from a very ordinary conversation.
While sitting in a local cafe, we overheard people talking about how difficult it can be for a small business to find additional sources of income. They looked around the cafe and mentioned something many businesses probably never think about.
There was unused space everywhere.
A small section of the counter. A noticeboard. A window. A table near the entrance. A brochure stand. Even a television screen already running during the day.
"Could some of that unused space be useful to another local business?"
That idea became the Display Spaces marketplace.
Turning unused space into local advertising
A cafe, salon, gym, shop, medical practice or other local venue may already have somewhere that could display flyers, brochures, business cards, posters, table cards, local offers or digital advertising.
The venue can decide whether to offer the space for free, charge for it, or simply use it to support businesses in the local area.
The advertiser gets another way to reach people locally. The venue gets the opportunity to make better use of space it already has. And local businesses start helping other local businesses.

We are building a local advertising marketplace that connects three groups of local people. Alongside this, businesses can also arrange flyer design, printing and other campaign services through the platform — the idea is to make local offline advertising simpler and more connected.
